TouchStar devices have two built-in relays, one controls the triggering of a siren, the second relay will control any type of electronic lock. The following are reference sites with the various types of lock.

  • Vodacom Head Office (Maglock) Integrated with KeyMaster from ControlSoft
  • Proline Panelbeaters (Maglock)
  • Coin Security Head Office (Maglock) Integrated with KeyMaster from ControlSoft

When integrated with KeyMaster from ControlSoft, TouchStar offers anti-passback capabilities.

When TDM (Professional) or KeyMaster software packages are used, zone control is also possible. e.g. Workers may have access to a specific area during working hours only, management may have access to the same area 24hours per day.

Because of the security supplied by the TouchStar it is assured that the person entering the area has access. This can be further enhanced by the fact that the TouchStar device has a feature whereby when a tag, card or PIN number are presented, up to three fingerprints are required to activate the lock. i.e. For high security areas a door will only open in the presence of three individuals.
